If it isn’t full-blown diabetes, why does it matter?
The “pre” language may lead you to believe it isn’t serious, but pre-diabetes puts you at a higher risk for not only Type 2 diabetes but also for heart disease and stroke. Taking steps now can reverse it, or prevent it from becoming diabetes.
Join our Pre-Diabetes Workshop, sponsored by the Food Bank of Western Massachusetts, to learn how to help reverse pre-diabetes. You will learn to identify foods, read food labels and cook easy meals. To attend, sign up in the dining room.
Open to all.
Sign up in the dining room or call (413) 528-1881.
Call (413) 528-1881 for more information to register for this course today, or see Polly to sign up.
Check back in September as our “Talks” get under way again for the fall.
