HOUSING
Our town and region have a number of housing options for seniors interested in subsidized senior-only housing, or mixed-age housing. Great Barrington senior housing options are listed here, and we encourage you to visit the websites of neighboring towns for more options in our region.
A note about subsidized housing: many Massachusetts subsidized housing residences require a Common Housing Application for Massachusetts Public Housing (CHAMP). The application can be found online here, or as a downloadable document here.
The CHAMP will cover your application to multiple housing options subsidized by the state. Before filling out the CHAMP, contact your residence of interest to determine to CHAMP is applicable.
